I'm trying not to be too biased with my critique... but this is really awesome.

First, I want to talk about the overall color scheme. I love that you focused on cool colors while still achieving solid contrast. the shapes are well defined without the use of thick harsh black lines, which is always nice.

Second, I'd like to talk about the background. I love the use of simple shapes and textures, and how it properly conveys the right atmosphere for the whole piece. Color choice here was also critical for the piece. A purple, or bluer shade could have changed the whole look and feel of the work.

Last, the Actual Character... Great job... you kept it simple and maintained clear details. Even in motion this image doesn't lose anything, it only gains in awesomeness!
